Megaman G9 and GU9 compact lamps with plug in base.  Self-ballasted plug in lamp with G9 base is a direct retrofit for existing 40w halogen G9 lamps offering an 80% saving over the halogen.  They generate significantly less heat than a halogen with 15000 hours average life.  The GU9 lamp is Part L compliant.
